A prayer for our nation's election
Lord God, as the election approaches,
we seek to better understand the issues and concerns
that confront our city and country,
and how the Gospel compels us to respond
as faithful citizens in our community.
We ask for eyes free from blindness
so that we might see each other as brothers and sisters,
one and equal in dignity,
especially those who are victims
of abuse and violence, deceit and poverty.
We ask for ears that will hear
the cries of children unborn and those abandoned,
men and women oppressed because of race or creed,
religion or gender.
We ask for minds and hearts
open to hearing the voices of leaders
whose work brings us closer to your reign of peace.
We pray for your Spirit to guide our discernment
that we may chose leaders
who hear the wisdom in your Word,
live your love, and keep in the ways of your truth.
Help us to follow in the steps of Jesus and his apostles and
come to the Kingdom he has promised.

The Attitude of the Right Leader
Lord, if your people need me, I will not refuse the work. Your will be done.- St. Martin de Tours
Another very inspiring quote for me. A quote one leader should take it in heart. The right leader should be like St. Martin de Tours asking the Lord "if your people need me, I will not refuse the work." Not for self but people's interest and not for self will but GOD's will.
As a father of the family, I'm very much inspired by St. Martin de Tours.
May the right leader wins this coming National Elections.

Skill versus Attitude
SKILL
A skill is the learned capacity to carry out pre-determined results often with the minimum outlay of time, energy, or both. Skills can often be divided into domain-general and domain-specific skills. For example, in the domain of work, some general skills would include time management, teamwork and leadership, self motivation and others, whereas domain-specific skills would be useful only for a certain job. Skill usually requires certain environmental stimuli and situations to assess the level of skill being shown and used.
People need a broad range of skills in order to contribute to a modern economy and take their place in the technological society of the twenty-first century. An ASTD study showed that through technology, the workplace is changing, and so are the skills that employees must have to be able to change with it.

ATTITUDE
An attitude is a hypothetical construct that represents an individual's degree of like or dislike for an item. Attitudes are generally positive or negative views of a person, place, thing, or event-- this is often referred to as the attitude object. People can also be conflicted or ambivalent toward an object, meaning that they simultaneously possess both positive and negative attitudes toward the item in question.
Attitudes are judgments. They develop on the ABC model (affect, behavior, and cognition). The affective response is an emotional response that expresses an individual's degree of preference for an entity. The behavioral intention is a verbal indication or typical behavioral tendency of an individual. The cognitive response is a cognitive evaluation of the entity that constitutes an individual's beliefs about the object. Most attitudes are the result of either direct experience or observational learning from the environment.

He is the owner and chairman of ZOE Broadcasting Network, a commercial TV station currently operated by GMA Network through Quality TeleVision (QTV). He is also the owner and president of Jesus Is Lord Colleges Foundation Inc. (JILCF), a Christian school in Bocaue, Bulacan.
